The Roll of The Coach

Often we are asked, “What exactly is a Business Coach?” Well, we’re so glad you asked! A business coach works closely with business owners, entrepreneurs, and dedicated professionals, to guide them through all of life’s challenges. It is our hope that with the guidance of a skilled coach, our clients will have a clear vision for their business and their life, a strategic plan with the building blocks to achieve complete success, and this will lead to business results and personal happiness.

Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas embraces her coach, Liang Chow.

Sometimes it’s best to use an analogy. With the recent 2012 Olympics not far behind us, we thought about the value of the coach in sports. Would an athlete become an Olympic athlete without the strength, guidance, and support of his or her coach? We wonder this very thing about your business. How will your business become all that it is meant to be…gold medal worthy, without the support of a business coach?

Research was done on the success of coach/athlete relationship by Bo Hanson – 4x Olympian, Coaching Consultant & Director of Athlete Assessments.  The results were very interesting, and very conclusive. Hanson reports:

The strong coach athlete relationship was viewed as the most crucial factor in winning an Olympic Medal or producing a personal best performance.  Within the interviews, each of the 27 athletes, elaborated on how they developed a strong relationship with their coach and how their coach created a productive environment for them to be successful in.

Our goal is to create productive and successful environments for our clients. It’s as simple as that! Hopefully this put the client/coach relationship into perspective for you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
